OBJECTIVES:

  • Introduce workshop participants to a strategic approach in reducing inequities in health (GEGA approach)
  • Introducing participants to a stepwise approach to measuring inequities using routine/secondary data available in all countries.
  • Presenting the experience of 4 Latin American countries in applying the GEGA approach.
  • Establishing first contact and exchange of experience towards expanding the Latin American alliance for equity in health.
